“Developing Leadership for the Future of America”
As the Latino Community continues to grow and expand its power and influence in America, our leaders are invited to reflect on how to create leadership, how to promote leaders, and in what direction the Latino Leadership of the U.S. is moving. This is a powerful, introspective exercise, achieved through sharing experiences, giving advice and discussing new ideas.
That is why, in a “live version” style of Latino Leaders Magazine, the publishers invite some of its interviewed leaders to jointly address the leadership of the community in an event that has become one of the nation’s most important gatherings of Latinos in leadership positions.
More than 400 leaders will gather to participate in an interactive conference to reflect upon leadership. At the end of the event, the publishers of the magazine will recognize national and local leadership at the “Maestro Award for Leadership” Dinner Gala, where four outstanding Latino leaders will be honored in an event attended by the most relevant leaders of the community, Latinos and otherwise.
Latino Leaders Magazine’s mission is to promote the image of the Latino Leader and to help create future leaders, in the most vibrant and fast growing minority community in America, through example. The Latino Leaders Summit is a forum created to celebrate, reflect and recognize such tremendous examples of leadership and success.

About Latino Leaders Magazine
LATINO LEADERS is a bimonthly publication with national distribution in the United States. Latino Leaders targets an educated and informed Latino readership, with articles featuring interviews with major Latino players in all fields of expertise. Editorial content focuses on social, political, and business leaders. In addition, the magazine covers the rise of influential Hispanics in the entertainment industry and sport. LATINO LEADERS is constantly growing and evolving, in the same way as the community it represents. In 2002 it launched several new sections, which include: "Shelf Life," book, music, and film reviews; "Gallery," photographs visually depicting Latinos in specific environments; and "Opinion," a forum for the discussion of pertinent issues; the "Proust Questionnaire," classic questions that quiz the nation's top Latinos. LATINO LEADERS features the most important aspects of the lives of US Hispanic leaders—the experiences and achievements that reveal who they are and how they got to be where they are today.
In all societies there are outstanding people—those who have vision, courage, talent, and persistence—who can make things come true. These are ordinary people with extraordinary determination. They are the leaders. The Hispanic community is growing fast, and many Latinos create and manage change. They are respectfully followed because they deserve the right to lead. All these outstanding people have experiences to share. Their lives, thoughts, and achievements are an example; understanding them can help others reach their own goals. LATINO LEADERS features the most important aspects of their lives—the moments, experiences, and achievements that reveal who they are and how they got to be where they are.
